This is the 70th year anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Next year, the year of the Academy Awards, will be the 70th anniversary of the Raid ... What better way to draw the worlds attention to these deserving men.
Rick Avery directed, Donna Keegan / Ian Quinn produced, and all contributed to this wonderful documentary as a labor of love and patriotism. We felt compelled to honor these great American heroes. Well, we have finished the film, but we've taken on some debt because of it.
We've already scheduled the film to screen because we believe that it deserves to be seen, and we've got to screen it soon in order to qualify for the awards this year. In order to keep pressing forward with this project, we need your help.
The revenue from the ticket sales of Raiders Remembered will go to the Doolittle Raiders Foundation up to the first $5,000. All proceeds after that will go to several different charities, all of which benefit veterans and military families.
Donations will go towards covering the cost of screening the film at the Sunset 5 in West Hollywood and the expenses incurred to advertise. The film will show for one week from September 23 through September 29th. Donations will also help cover the costs of making the film including production and editing costs.
You can make a difference and donate by clicking the "Indie GoGo" link on the right of this page. Every little helps! Even if you can't donate, please help us spread the word about this film.
